Being out in the nature has tremendous healing power. This fall, MCG is taking its “group” outside! Please join us for our first annual sisters-only healing hike/walk.

The 3-mile Atlanta Beltline Westside Trail is ADA-accessible with ramp and provides access for people of all abilities. The trail links Washington Park and Lena Street to Adair Park and University Avenue.

PROGRAM:

We will meet on the street in front of the tennis center at Washington Park (3:30PM)

Begin walk on the Northern end of the Westside Trail (3:35PM)

Walk south on the trail to Westview and back (30 minutes ~ 1.5 miles each way)

Conduct our group share in Memorial Park (4:45PM)

Note: please bring a water bottle and snack if you’d like

PARKING:

Parking is available only on neighborhood streets. Please be respectful of residents. Park at or near Washington Park (Tennis Center) 1125 Lena Street, Atlanta GA 30314.

TRANSIT:

The north end of the trail is adjacent to Washington Park and Lena Street. It is a short walk from the Ashby MARTA rail station on the East-West Line.
