We are excited about this month's MCG meeting! This months group meeting is to listen to "you", a conversation with a spotlight on our young Muslimahs. Our young sisters are facing real issues about relationships. This month we invite our young sisters to discuss these challenges in a frank and open conversation.
We hope to touch on the following topics:
Though Halal, concerns about Muslim men marrying non-Muslim women, especially when there is an overabundance of available Muslimahs.
Sisters want information on how to navigate getting to know a Muslim brother appropriatly. What is the protocol? How can achieving the best fit towards a lifetime partner be enjoyable and be within Islam's perspective and limits?
Do "Arranged Marriages" work?
Physical desires are normal. How do we deal with this natural energy that Allah has created to bring us together? What has been some of our solutions? What does Allah and Our Sunnah say about this?
